                   A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 18905, 
                   ENCAPTIONED HEREINBELOW, SO AS TO DELETE 
                   "ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS 
                   AND RECREATION" AND SUBSTITUTE IN LIEU 
                   THEREOF "MAYOR" AND TO INCREASE THE CITY'S 
                   PORTION OF MATCHING SUMS AND THE TOTAL 
                   PROJECT COST.
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby amended 
       Resolution No. 18905, encaptioned:
            A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE 
            DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION TO FILE AN 
            APPLICATION WITH THE URBAN PARKS AND RECREATION RECOVERY 
            PROGRAM, THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR, 
            NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, FOR A TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND 
            AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($250,000.00) GRANT, SUBJECT TO BEING 
            MATCHED BY THE CITY WITH A SUM NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY 
            FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($75,000.00) FOR A 
            TOTAL PROJECT COST OF THREE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND 
            AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($325,000.00).
            
       so as to delete the "Administrator of the Department of Parks and 
       Recreation" and substitute in lieu thereof "Mayor" and to delete 
       the words and figures "Seventy Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars 
       ($75,000.00)" and "Three Hundred Twenty Five Thousand and no/100 
       Dollars ($325,000.00)" and substitute in lieu thereof the words 
       and figures "One Hundred Seven Thousand and no/100 Dollars 
       ($107,000.00)" and "Three Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand and no/100 
       Dollars ($357,000.00)", respectively.
